I believe Reflexology is an ideal therapy for any client who is seeking a Holistic approach to treating the body and mind.

How does Reflexology work? Reflexology is the steady application of pressure to the feet which encourages the body to work naturally to restore natural balance. Within the official Reflexology Foot map developed in the 20th Century, typically shows various areas on the foot relating to various parts of the human anatomy. Each of these areas in turn receive pressure from the Qualified therapist during a typical reflexology treatment.

Is Reflexology for Me?

Within the modern workplace and in general today’s modern lives it is estimated that 75% of all illnesses are thought to be caused by stress. As a professional Reflexologist, I or my therapies do not claim to cure or diagnose any medical ailments, reflexology is a very individual treatment which works with you holistically to restore the body’s natural balance and well being.

Every client is unique, with their own specific needs and requirements these will be picked up from the clients medical history and through the feet during treatment. Usually after treatment the client may feel a great deal of changes within their well being as the body’s balance starts to become naturally restored. It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids (alcohol excluded) to assist the process of elimanating toxins.

Treatment Sessions

Reflexology Treatment Secessions last 60 minutes however an hour and a quarter need to be allocated for the first secession whilst documentation and past medical history is recorded.

Reflexology History

The history behind Reflexology extends back to ancient times with the oldest documented record of reflexology being practiced  shown in a pictograph format in a the Tomb of the Egyptian Physician Ankhmar, dated approximately 2500 to 2330 B.C.
